Our ministry covers five main areas of Kingdom activity.
With 14 years in the army, 9 years in business and 30 years in full time ministry and church leadership, Geoff carries prophetic and strategic insight into matters relating to leadership in general and church leadership in particular. His understanding of the balance between biblical authority and servant leadership enables him to serve leadership teams and bring clarity and insight into local situations.
We believe that the main role of leadership is found in the fourth chapter of Ephesians, which is to “equip the saints for the work of the ministry”. In this way every believer grows in maturity and effectiveness as they participate in building the church.
We are available to meet with leadership teams as a “sounding board” to chat through issues relating to church leadership. We can also offer leadership training should the local team feel it would be benefit their development.
In many churches the congregation is the greatest unused asset. We have a heart to help each and every person to be a “living stone” actively involved in releasing the Kingdom of God both into and through their everyday lives.
Many believers struggle with life issues from the past that hinder their spiritual growth and maturity. There are many reasons why people hesitate to “step out”. We have found that dealing with the inner issues of the past, catching a real understanding of our new identity as sons and daughters of the living God, and then developing intimacy with Father God brings great release and fruitfulness.
Over the years we have developed teaching and helps to release folk from these burdens and to bring healing and wholeness in spirit, soul and body.
We are available to lead seminars, retreats, and teaching sessions on a wide variety of topics that will see breakthrough into freedom in Christ.
All believers are called to be Kingdom representatives wherever they are. We refer to this missional calling as being “people of influence and agents of change”. We seek to encourage all believers to “earth out” their faith by living out the Word through the power of the Spirit.
In his book “Kingdom and Culture” Geoff gives a “Fivefold Strategy” that engages believers with very practical steps to develop an effective “Mission” lifestyle in our everyday lives.
Geoff has presented seminars based on the principles outlined in Kingdom and Culture on numerous occasions both in the UK and overseas. We believe passionately that these principles will help create a powerful missional environment within the local church.
Living with a “missional” perspective creates the environment in which evangelism can operate successfully. Evangelism has the sharp focus of soul winning and ingathering of the harvest. Both Geoff and Jane carry a strong anointing as evangelists and would be honoured to work with a church to develop effective evangelism strategies and programmes.
We have been involved in evangelism and church planting since 1983 and have seen many lives totally transformed with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We have also led schools of evangelism that have equipped Christians across the denominational spectrum. Several of our students are now currently active in fruitful full time ministries both at home and overseas.
Our link with Marilyn Harry of Harvest Time World Missions continues as we are also currently involved with her great “Love Wales” vision to see true revival return once again throughout the principality of Wales.
Living Stones Ministries can assist in equipping churches to become effective in soul winning. We can offer training days to prepare a church for outreach events and we can also provide teams to work alongside the church at these special events.
Although some would claim that revival is a sovereign act of God, we at Living Stones Ministries believe that the church can do much to create the environment for such an occurrence. We passionately believe that this environment is created when the church truly fulfills both the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
We are committed to working together with others in the Body of Christ to create such an environment.
The tern “Revival” can mean many different things to different people. At Living Stones Ministries we are comfortable with the definition of revival that was developed during the Brownsville Revival of the mid 1990’s.
“Revival is a season of unusual divine visitation resulting in deep repentance, supernatural renewal, and sweeping reformation in the Church, along with the radical conversion of sinners in the world, often producing moral, social, and even economic change in the local or national communities.”
We believe this agrees with the thrust of 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 where God gives a clear promise of revival and healing of the land following a deep move of the Spirit within the church that leads to repentance and renewal.
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.15 My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place. (NLT)
We are passionate to build relational links with others who are prayerfully seeking to see revival impact the United Kingdom once again. If that is you, then please do contact us and we can walk this exciting journey together.
